Autism Information and Advice

Our aim is to signpost clients to services, projects and specialist advice that benefits them.

We work closely with autistic individuals, as well as friends, families and carers of autistic people, listening to and understanding their needs so we can conduct research and deliver a level of service that works for them.

We believe expertise comes from lived experience. That’s why we formed the Derbyshire Autism Alliance, formed of autistic individuals, parents and carers, relevant professionals and other key voices. Together we are striving to make a positive impact in our communities.

The Autism Information and Advice Service also delivers training and support for professionals and businesses in Derbyshire and Derby City. Whether you work within the autistic community or just want to become more autism-aware, we are here to help. Our training is free for statutory services in Derbyshire and Derby City.

Please connect with us on Facebook for updates and important information relating to autism or find us on instagram where we have a range of informative and engaging content. You can find us on facebook as ‘The Autism Information and Advice Service’, and on Instagram as @autisminformationandadvice.

The Autism Information and Advice Service is available to any autistic individual in Derbyshire County and Derby City, aged 16+, as well as their friends, families and carers and professionals working with the autistic community.
